Bumpwise license agreement
Last updated: 8 November 2026
This agreement is between you (the individual or the organization you represent, “Customer”) and [LEGAL NAME], trading as Gilware, [ADDRESS] (“Gilware”). It applies to the Bumpwise plugin (“Software”). By installing or using the Software you accept it.
1. License
Gilware grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software. The Free edition may be used at no cost. Bumpwise Team features require a valid subscription purchased through the JetBrains Marketplace (or a trial), licensed per user: each license may be used by one named user, on any number of their own computers.
2. Purchase, trial and renewal
Subscriptions, trials, prices, taxes, invoices, renewals and refunds are handled by JetBrains s.r.o. as reseller, under the JetBrains Marketplace terms in force at the time of purchase. When a subscription or trial ends, Team features stop working and the Free edition remains available.
3. Restrictions
You may not: (a) rent, lease, sublicense or resell the Software or licenses except as allowed by the JetBrains Marketplace; (b) remove or bypass license checks; (c) reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, except to the extent the law expressly permits it; (d) use the Software to build a competing product.
4. Your code and data
The Software runs on your computer. Gilware does not receive your source code or project data. You remain the owner of your code and of everything the Software produces for you, such as changelogs and reports. See the privacy policy.
5. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. Gilware keeps all rights, title and interest in the Software, its trademarks (Gilware, Bumpwise) and its documentation.
6. Updates and support
During a subscription you are entitled to the updates Gilware publishes. Support is provided by email at hello@gilware.com on a reasonable-effort basis.
7. Warranty
The Software helps you detect incompatible API changes but cannot guarantee that every incompatibility is found or that every finding applies to your situation. You remain responsible for your releases. To the extent permitted by law, the Software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Statutory rights of consumers are not affected.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Gilware is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or business, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Software in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for intent, gross negligence or anything that cannot be limited by law.
9. Termination
This license ends automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using the Software. Sections 4 to 10 survive termination.
10. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of [COUNTRY], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence still apply.
